Best Practices Conference

The Annual Best Practices Conference provides professional development and networking for statewide STEP/CSTEP staff to expand their project development skills, their working knowledge of successful model programs and program components. The conference consists of hands-on workshops, seminars, demonstrations, training, and scholarly presentations. These activities provide staff members with information, models, skills and techniques that may be replicated and adapted for use by individual STEP/CSTEP programs.


The Association for Program Administrators of CSTEP & STEP (APACS), Inc. is pleased to announce the Tenth Annual Best Practices Conference, to be held June 10-12th, 2009 at the Marriott Hotel in Albany, New York.

The purpose of the conference is to present professional project staff with successful program models that they may replicate and to assist them in providing higher quality programs for their students. Project staff will be offered managerial strategies and administrative tools to increase their effectiveness and efficiency in planning, organizing, and implementing project services, activities, resources, and personnel.

We look forward to seeing you in Albany and we are confident you will find the workshops, speakers and activities to be useful, interesting and beneficial.

Registration Fee: $ 475.00 Per person (Deadline - Postmarked by
May 8, 2009)

Late Registration Fee: $ 550.00 Per person (Deadline - Postmarked by
May 22, 2009)
